Tom A Smith is a prolific 21-year-old songwriter from Sunderland, who has been performing live since the age of 8, either solo acoustic or with band Katie, Dylan and Frazer. This included playing open mic nights as a young teen in the North East alongside Sam Fender who referred to Tom as "My favourite Mackem" .

Now Tom has amassed over 5 million catalogue streams, and more than 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, so it’s no surprise he’s been hand-picked to support artists such as The  Maccabees, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Courteeners, James, The Lathums, Gang of Youths, Miles Kane, Billy Bragg, and DMAs. Plus he was personally invited to open for Sir Elton John at Hyde Park for the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Concert in 2022.
