Park View

Born in the heart of Newcastle’s student scene, Park View started life in a cramped flat at Park View Student Village in late 2022 — Alfie Kelly, Alex Potter and Tom Wass picked up guitars and started off with a few riffs. With Louis Simpson on bass and Josh Bairstow on drums, the full lineup came together, and the band quickly earned a loyal following through five sold-out headline shows and a string of packed-out gigs across the North East.

After building serious momentum across the North East — selling out The Globe, Bobiks, Little Buildings, The Dirty Habit, and Cluny 2 — the band took time out to reflect, recalibrate, and record their debut: The Pretty Sounds EP, released in May 2025.

Line-up changes followed, and with them, a fresh energy. Park View is joined by Laura Kearns on bass, Lewis Nicholson on rhythm guitar, and Tom Davys on drums — a new era with new songs, new sound, and the same big ambitions.

With a perfect headliner record in Newcastle, a slot at Hardwick Festival 2025, and live appearances for BBC Introducing, Park View have supported acts like The Covasettes, Pentire, Trampolene and King Nun — and they’re just getting started.
